Hello~! It's been a while since I posted something un-dl-related, ne? I blame school for taking
all most of my time! Needing to pass paper works and such *sigh*. Then there's the dreaded exams week after week, seriously, it tires me... How 'bout you?
Anyway, recently my Tenimyu love has been revived! Can't you tell? Maybe its because of Shin Tenipuri or Tenipuri OVA but it doesn't really matter, does it? Tenimyu
is eternal!!
Though, in my opinion, most of the 5th cast don't look like much their characters. Maybe I should blame Aibacchi for looking so much like Fuji or Daisuke for being so Tezuka-like or Dori Echizen I mean Sakurada, that I've became accustomed that they should somehow look like the characters! But, still, 5th cast is 5th cast and they have their own charm so who am I to judge? Besides, they're doing a good job so no harm done ne?
Speaking of Tenimyu feels nostalgic. It reminds me of how I started getting hooked on it. The first time I watched it was during the Yamabukimyu where the 2nd cast started. I remember my reaction to each actors being presented at the start. I was like, "Eh? They don't even look like them!". I even remember when they introduced Araki. My reaction? "What the-!? Inui's handsome!". Hilarious? Yes. Then they introduced Aibacchi and I was relieved, because he looks like Fuji and he even emits that aura. Besides, I love Fuji Syusuke lol.
Back then, the only one I thought look like the character was Aibacchi but I was so wrong. When Hyouteimyu came I was stunned. Date Kouji is the living Ootori Choutarou, I mean he looks so much like him that he may have well been taken from the manga itself and was just given another name in the real world. During those times, when I first saw Kazuki I was wondering why they cast him. After some time I realize, Kato Kazuki = Atobe Keigo an vice versa. Maybe that's why I was sad that they changed the Hyoutei casting for Cinepuri. No offense but I think the original Hyoutei cast is the greatest, ever.
Then Rokkakumyu. Rokkaku cast was funny, to say the least. Just seeing Kato Ryosuke as Kisarazu Ryoh being asked about his twin was hilarious. He even kept on emphasizing that it was impossible for them to be in a same place. Oh and if you've been reading Shin Tenipuri you can probably relate to me when I say that there was something awkward there. Irei Kanata? There is only 1 Irei Kanata I know and that's the one playing Saeki Koujirou. What's awkward you may ask? Well, in Shin Tenipuri there's also another Irei Kanata.
Now I'm wondering if Konomi-sensei ran out of ideas for character names that he choose to take from the Tenimyu cast. But who knows right?
Then there's Rikkaimyu. I had the same sentiments about Ouji back then but when I try to recall about it now, Masuda Toshiki may look like Seiichi but Ouji is the living Yukimura Seiichi for me. If you view him outside Tenimyu he's Yukimura-like that its a sin XP. Even Kane-kun is sanada-like! Don't even get me started with Masataka & Ba-chon. They are
the Platinum Pair *period*. Overall Rikkai cast was, for me, the best rival cast, alongside Hyoutei of course XP. Now, even Higa and Shiten A/B makes a promising rival cast as well. Plus, they're funny. It makes me wonder though if they'll ever bring back the whole cast of Yamabuki, St. Rudolph, or Fudomine.
Wha... I can't believe I've written so much.. @.@
All in all, besides the fact that I love Tenipuri, I love Tenimyu because of its cast. How about you? How did you get hooked to the sin called
Tenimyu?
P.S.: Since there are a lot of nice people who comment on
this post I thought I might as well share the third part of the movie. Though there are a lot asking if I have the 1st one.. I do, but someone already shared it at a smaller file size (might I add). Mine's around 700MB while the one available is only about 400+MB. So I might not share mine.
